Terms of service
Last updated 1 November 2026
These terms are the agreement between you and Sentrywave (Private) Limited of Harare, Zimbabwe, which runs Dariro. By signing in you agree to them. A brand is whoever pays for a campaign; a promoter is whoever posts for pay. The same person can be both.
What Dariro is
Dariro is a marketplace for paid promotion on social media. Brands publish campaigns; promoters post about them from their own verified profiles, labelled as paid; Dariro holds the price of each job until the post is approved, then pays the promoter. Each job is an agreement between the brand and the promoter. Dariro runs the marketplace, checks profiles, campaigns and posts, holds and pays the money, and settles disputes.
Dariro is not TikTok, Instagram, Facebook or YouTube, and isn't endorsed by them. Dariro sells posts by real people, never likes, followers, views or comments, and doesn't promise any reach, engagement or sales.
Who can use Dariro
- You must be 18 or over. We ask you to confirm it before your first campaign or job.
- Use your own phone number: it is your account. One account per person.
- What you tell us must be true, including about yourself, your profiles and your business.
- Keep your sign-in codes to yourself: whoever has your phone and a code can use your account.
Profiles
- Link only profiles you own or run. You link each one by signing in with its platform, which tells us it’s yours and how many followers it has.
- Only verified profiles take paid work. Each brand sets the followers its job needs, and promoters see it before they take the job.
- We may check a profile again, and refuse or remove one with bought followers, bots, or followers or engagement that aren’t real.
- We never ask for your social media passwords.
What can be promoted, and how
A campaign asks each promoter for one thing, made by them and posted from their own profile:
- a post or a story of their own;
- the brand’s advert inside one of their videos; or
- a share (Facebook) of the brand’s post, in their own words.
Dariro doesn't run paid comments, plain reposts, or anything that pays for likes, follows, views or comments: the platforms treat these as fake engagement. With more than 10 promoters on a campaign, each one writes in their own words, because the same words from many accounts look like spam.
Dariro checks some campaigns before they reach the feed, and may turn them down: anything political, betting, alcohol, loans, investments or crypto, health claims, a campaign we couldn't screen automatically, and open campaigns for more than 50 promoters. We refuse anything unlawful, misleading, aimed at children, or against a platform's rules, including medicines that aren't approved for sale in Zimbabwe.
Labelling paid posts
Every post made for a campaign must say it is paid: #ad in the post, or the platform's own paid-partnership label. The platforms require it and the law expects adverts not to mislead. Promoters confirm the label when they submit a post; a brand's caption must include #ad; and no campaign may ask a promoter to hide that a post is paid. A post that isn't labelled may not be paid.
For brands
- Add money to your wallet first. A campaign is at least $10 and pays each promoter at least $2; publishing needs enough free money in your wallet for its whole budget.
- When a promoter takes a job (or you choose one who applied), its price is held from your wallet for that job. It comes back to your wallet if they don’t post by the deadline, let the job go, or a dispute is decided for you.
- You have 48 hours after a post is submitted to approve it or report a problem. If you do neither, the promoter is paid. Report only real problems: we look at every report.
- Your campaign, its files and captions must be true and lawful, and yours to use. Claims about your product must be ones you can back up.
- You choose, when publishing, what you may do with promoters’ posts beyond the post itself (see Content and rights).
- You may pause or close a campaign at any time; jobs already taken go ahead.
For promoters
- Post what the campaign asks, from the profile you took the job with, by its deadline, and paste the link.
- Make it yours: honest, in your own words where the campaign asks, and only about what you really think.
- Label it as paid, and keep it public until you are paid. A post deleted or made private before then may not be paid.
- Your earnings are yours to declare: you are responsible for your own taxes.
- You remain responsible for your account and for following each platform’s rules.
Content and rights
- Your post stays yours. By taking a job you let the brand link to it and show it, credited to you.
- If the campaign says so, you also let the brand share it on its own pages, or use it in its own paid ads, crediting you. You see this before you take the job.
- A brand lets every promoter on its campaign post the files and caption it provides, for that campaign.
- Dariro may show a post the way its platform shows it (an embed) to the brand, to you, and to admins checking it.
Fees and money
- Dariro keeps a service fee of 20% of each job’s price, fixed when the job is taken. Each campaign shows promoters what they get, after the fee. There is no other charge from Dariro.
- Money comes in and goes out through payment providers (Pesepay, Smile Pay) and EcoCash, whose own terms and charges apply. Dariro never sees your PIN or card number.
- Your wallet shows money that is yours: it is not a bank account, and it earns no interest.
- Ask for a payout of $5 or more at any time. It goes to your account’s own phone number on EcoCash, usually within 2 working days.
- Money paid in by card can be paid out 7 days after the payment. Payouts over $500 in 30 days wait until we have checked who you are.
- A payment the provider reverses, or one made with someone else’s details, is taken back from the wallet.
Refunds and cancellations
- Money held for a job comes back to the brand’s wallet if the post isn’t made in time, the promoter lets the job go, or a dispute is decided for the brand.
- A campaign we turn down holds nothing; its money stays free in your wallet.
- Money in your wallet that isn’t held for a job can be paid out to you, as above.
Disputes
When a brand reports a problem, or a post is gone when it is due to be paid, the money stays held. Dariro looks at the post and what both sides say, then pays the promoter or gives the brand its money back. Tell us within 14 days if you disagree with a decision ([email protected]) and someone else at Dariro looks again. This doesn't limit any right you have under Zimbabwean law, including the Consumer Protection Act.
Not allowed
- Fake or bought accounts, bought followers, bots, or buying, selling or trading likes, follows, views or comments.
- Hiding that a post is paid, or misleading the people who see it.
- Fraud, scams, or using someone else’s phone, account or payment details.
- Hate, harassment, threats, sexual content, or anything illegal.
- Getting round Dariro to avoid its fee once you have met through it, or interfering with the service.
AI
The assistant, campaign ideas and part of our checks are done by AI. AI suggestions are drafts: check them before you rely on them, and you are responsible for what you publish. AI never moves money; only you can confirm a payment.
Suspending and closing accounts
You can close your account at any time; money in your wallet is paid out to you first. We may limit, suspend or close an account that breaks these terms or that we reasonably believe is being used for fraud, telling you why unless the law or an investigation prevents it. Money that is yours is still paid out, less anything reversed or taken by fraud.
Liability
We work to keep Dariro running and accurate, but provide it as it is. The platforms can change their rules, remove posts or limit reach at any time, and we aren't responsible for that, or for what brands and promoters post. As far as the law allows, our liability for any claim is limited to the fees Dariro earned from the jobs involved.
Changes, law and contact
We may change these terms; we update the date at the top and tell you before a change that matters takes effect. Zimbabwean law applies. Questions: [email protected]. How we handle your data: privacy policy.
